International Events

Te Matatini is often invited to send top Kapa Haka teams to major international events.

The honour of representing the best of Kapa Haka on the world stage is usually given to the current winners of the Te Matatini National Festival.  Sometimes, depending on the event and funding, the top two or three Festival teams may be sent to an event.
